Warragamba and the Surrounding districts have a lot of attractions for you to look at on your visit.
● Warragamba Dam Viewing Platform - Located at the end of Eighteenth St, overlooks the dam wall and the new Spillway. Plenty of
parking for cars and buses. Open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week. You can also see the foundations of some of the worker barracks on the
road to the viewing platform.
● Warragamba Dam Picnic Grounds - Located at the end of Farnsworth Ave and featuring electric BBQ's, hot water, playground
equipment, toilets, drinking water & picnic shelters. Open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week (open till 7pm on weekends and public holidays
during Daylight Savings time) There are no entry fees to the grounds and picnic areas cannot be reserved. Facilities are set in natural
bushland surroundings. There is plenty of parking available.
● Warragamba Dam Visitor Centre - Located within the Picnic Grounds (off Farnsworth Ave) Featuring a display of the Dam workings,
photos and information on the dam. Open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week. The Dam Visitor Centre can be contacted on 0247 200 349.
● Burragorang Lookout - Located near Natti in Sydney's South West. Follow Silverdale Road to the Oaks and follow Burragorang Rd.
Facilities include BBQ's, toilets, playground and viewing area.
● Bents Basin State Recreation Area - Just south of Wallacia is the swimming hole known as Bents Basin. Facilities include picnic grounds
with BBQ's, toilet facilities and gentle walking tracks. Vehicle entry fees apply and camping is available including coin operated showers
(bookings for camping is required - visit the National Parks and Wildlife Website)
● Accomodation is available nearby at Wallacia Hotel and Wallacia Caravan Park (10 minutes drive) Contact Wallacia Hotel 0247 738 888

● Places to eat and relax include - Warragamba Workers Club (Eighteenth St, Warragamba), Wallacia Hotel & Pub (Mulgoa Road
Wallacia), Wallacia Golf Club (Park Road, Wallacia), Wallacia Bowling Club (Roma Avenue, Wallacia), Hubertus Country Club (Adams
Road, Luddenham)
● Warragamba Workers and Sporting Club boasts a Bistro and function venue ideal for casual and group tour visits.
● Other facilities - Swimming Pool, Sporting Fields (Soccer & Football), Tennis Courts (Bookings Required), Skate Board Park. The
township also has a Town Hall, Churches, Ambulance, Fire and Police.
● Silverdale Shopping Centre is located on Silverdale Road near Econo Place. It has a supermarket, bakery, real estate, service station,
post office, bottle shop, hairdresser, workshop, video shop, chemist, accountant, solicitor, engineer and fitness studio.
● ATM's are located at Warragamba Workers Club and Silverdale IGA.
● Historic Village of Yerranderie, A ghost town that once was a large silver mining town, home to over 2000 prospectors, in the early
1900's, before the building of Warragamba Dam and the subsequent flooding of the Burragorang Valley, cut off the town. A few buildings
have been restored for accommodation or you can camp out under the stars. Visit the site for more information. Access to Yerranderie is
through the Blue Mountains and four wheel drive is recommended.
